Dexter Wayne McQueen was born on December 9, 1953 to the late Jim and Willie Doris McQueen in Gadsden, Alabama. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia with his family in 1968.
Dexter accepted Christ at a young age. Dexter received his formal education in the Atlanta Public Schools System. Dexter was very crafty with his hands, He could build, draw and fix almost anything. Along with also having a sharp and intelligent mind.
Dexter Wayne McQueen departed this earthly life on Tuesday, December 31, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Eddie Couch, James McQueen, Michael McQueen, Roderick McQueen. One sister Brenda Ross.
He leaves to cherish his memories; One daughter, Flertasha McQueen; Two sisters Renecier McQueen-Griffin, and Sonya McQueen; One Brother Bobby McQueen(Lynn) One Aunt, Linda Mallory Horton; One Uncle, James Mallory; Three nieces Rahneika McQueen, Zackeisha Brimidge and Danisha Parks. Two nephews Zach and Eric Ross. Two grandchildren Brandy and Diamond McDowell. Great-Grandchildren Jace and Justice McDowell. A special friend Veronica Perkins. And a host of other relatives and friends.
