EDNA L JEFFERSON

Edna L. Jefferson left this earthly realm on August 28, 2021, after a yearlong battle with colon cancer. She was 68 years old.

It would be a mistake to say Edna lost her battle with cancer because she never stopped fighting. She remained steadfast in her faith and was fervent in her prayers. Edna was a disciple of Christ, ministering to her children, grandchild, family, friends, and her community. She loved the Lord with every fiber of her soul. She rests and rejoices now with the Father. Revelation 21:4 teaches, “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Edna lives on in the hearts of her family, especially her children Vincent and Vanessa and her only grandchild, Aaron.

Edna will be remembered for her pure love, smile, selflessness, and devout adoration of God. She was a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She leaves to cherish all the beautiful memories of her. Her strength, her prayers for her family, and her guidance through biblical teaching are what her children and grandson will hold onto dearly.
