Obituary

Geraldean Eldridge known by some as “Dean” or “Geri” was a beloved daughter, wife, sister, and aunt  passed away November 15, 2022, from congestive heart failure.  Even though a failing heart took her away, she passed quietly with family by her side.  Her loving heart left a light for all in the community.

Geraldean Eldridge was born November 19, 1941, in Pineville, Louisiana to the late Ruby and Nathaniel Jones, Sr. In 1966 Dean married her longtime childhood friend, Thomas Eldridge. In 2013 after the loss of her husband, Dean relocated to Decatur, Georgia to be with family.

She was never selfish, always kind, a loving nature, and a heart of gold, that was Dean. You will be sorely missed. Survived by Brothers: Nathaniel Jones Jr. (Alice) Corona CA; Joseph Lionel Jones Atlanta, GA; Sisters: Elgie Woods La Puente, CA; Debra Brown-McCowan San Dimas, CA; Thelma Woods Decatur, GA and three generations of nieces and nephews.
