Jacqueline L. Johnson was born on April 18, 1956, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Charles “Nehi” Lawrence and Margaret Lawrence. She was educated in the City of Decatur School System and later retired from the Defense Commissary Agency (DECA) at Fort Gillem, after many years of dedicated service.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Margaret Lawrence; her brother, Johnny Lawrence; and her sister, Verbina Lawrence.
She leaves to cherish her memory, three children: Omar Lawrence, Chaka Johnson, and Quincy Johnson; seven grandchildren: Saimone, Zion, Omari, Justin, Scarlett, Drake, Ava and one great-granddaughter, Hayes.
She is also survived by her siblings, Charles “Bug” Lawrence, Elaine Brown, Vanessa Williams, Donald Lawrence, and Lisa Lawrence; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Jackie was loved beyond words, and her memory will FOREVER be TREASURED and NEVER FORGOTTEN.
