Jacquis Miller Obituary

Jacquis Miller was born on August 23, 1993, in (Bellflower, CA).  In 1997 Jacquis moved with his family to Alabama and in 2000 the family settled in Georgia. Jacquis was a remarkable soul who touched the lives of everyone he encountered. As a twin, he shared an unbreakable bond with his brother, and their connection was evident from the moment they entered this world as they came in kicking and screaming in unison. We affectionately called Jacquis “Twin A,” a moniker that reflected his protective nature and unwavering love for family.

From an early age, Jacquis reveled in the great outdoors. He spent countless hours playing with his brothers and friends, their laughter echoing through the neighborhood. Sports were his passion, and football held a special place in his heart. At East Coweta High School, he played both strong safety and cornerback positions on the football team - proudly wearing the number 32, leaving all he had on the field every game.

Jacquis’s hands were his greatest tools. As a child, he disassembled and reassembled objects, teaching himself the intricacies of mechanics. His innate talent led him to West Georgia University, where he pursued his dream of becoming an auto mechanic. Friends and family knew they could rely on Jacquis whenever their cars needed attention; he’d arrive promptly, wearing his signature smile, ready to tackle any challenge.

Jacquis’s skills extended beyond engines. He also mastered the skill of barbering, honing his craft in his free time. His brothers and friends all benefited from his expertise, leaving his chair with fresh cuts and renewed confidence. Jacquis’s warm heart and generosity knew no bounds—he’d give you the shirt off his back without hesitation.

His infectious smile illuminated every room he entered. Even during difficult times, Jacquis remained a calm beacon of positivity, offering words of encouragement and ongoing support. His gentle soul and beautiful spirit left an indelible impression on all who knew him. And let’s not forget his humor - quick witted and real - the kind of humor that caught you off guard, leaving you laughing and wondering, “Did he really just say that?”

Jacquis’s legacy lives on through his beloved 3-year-old son, Elias—the light of his life. Jacquis worked at Firestone in Stone Mountain GA. He was a dedicated worker, Jacquis never missed a day on the job, and his commitment extended far beyond the workplace – with Elias being his inspiration. He was there for Elias, steadfast, devoted, and determined to be the dad Elias’ needed and deserved.

Recently, Jacquis shared a poignant quote with a close friend: “I appreciate life every day I wake up because you’re never promised the next day. It’s essential to stay on a good note with the people you talk to and care about.” That was Jacquis – always thinking about others and never taking life for granted.

As we say goodbye to Jacquis, we celebrate the impact he made, the love he shared, and the memories that will forever warm our hearts. May his spirit continue to inspire us all.
