Louis Ball Jr, affectionately known as “June-Boy” was born on 21 July 1952. As the youngest of five children, he was raised in New Orleans, LA to the late Louis Ball Sr and Allean Ball. After attending school in the Orleans Parish School District, he relocated to Atlanta, GA to pursue his career as a carpet layer. Louis was a loyal and dedicated professional of Raben-Nash Carpet Co. for over 20 years.

June-Boy leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and dedication to his family and friends. He always had something to say that made you smile. As a pillar in his community, many of his friends relied on his wisdom, advice, and generosity.

Louis was called to his heavenly home on the morning of 10 October 2023. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Percy Dillon, sisters Cora Lee Dexter, Clay Lee Bell, and Ollie Jean Green.

Louis leaves behind his loving life companion Cynthia Frazier of 24 years. He also leaves his three Sons: Louis Ball III (Sharita), Brian Clark (Kenya), and Kevin Turner. Grandchildren: Darius Davis, Brianna Clark, and Kyle Clark. Stepchildren: Howard “Hippy” Porter, April Porter, Halee Thomas, DeBarrious McKissick DeTron McKissick, and DeNorrious Lee. He was loved dearly and will be missed by a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.
