NELSON TERRELL Obituary

Mr. Nelson Terrell was born on August 17, 1956 to the late German (Pinkston) Terrell and Arvalene Young Terrell in Newark, New Jersey. He received his education at Barringer High School and after graduating he joined the United States Navy Academy where he received an honorable discharged after a back injury and then he joined his father’s contracting business.  After several years he moved to Atlanta, Georgia to reunite with his siblings and start a new life where he met and married Elaine Moore on November 30, 1998. 

 He departed this life on May 23, 2022 leaving to cherish his memories his loving wife Elaine Moore Terrell and six children, Nelson David (Man) Terrell Jr, Nadirah Terrell, Shakeerah Terrell, Quran Fuji (Natasha) Terrell and a step son Lorenzo Moore.  He also leaves four siblings Glen (Davita) Terrell, Gale (Loronzo) Williams, Arnita (Randy) Williams, Allen Terrell of Georgia and Rashawn Williamson of New Jersey, 2 siblings who preceded him in death Carsie (Dorothy) Williams of North Carolina and Kermit Bobby (Teretha) Smith Georgia and two very loved extended sisters Lasonya Jones and Sharonda Jones of New Jersey, a brother in law Bennie (Rose) Moore Jr, two sister in laws, Paulette (Frank) Hadwin, Edna Wheeler and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
